The Independent Girls Schools Sports Association is proud to announce the official launch of our 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, unveiled yesterday in the presence of Heads of School, Heads of Sport, student athletes, and key partners.
This milestone marks the first Strategic Plan in IGSSA’s history and formalises our ongoing commitment to advancing female sport. Developed through extensive consultation with students, school leaders, sport staff, parents, and our Strategic Planning Working Group, the plan sets a clear direction for the next five years.
We extend our sincere thanks to our partner Life Sport Journey for facilitating the strategic planning process, and to all members of our community who contributed their insights, experience, and passion throughout its development.
Guided by our purpose to champion the transformative power of sport for girls and young women, the plan focuses on three priority areas – Participation, Performance, and Leadership – and outlines clear actions to strengthen opportunities and experiences across IGSSA sport.
