IGSSA Pink Round will be held from 28th July - 3rd August

Pink Round 2025

The Independent Girls Schools Sports Association (IGSSA) is proudly hosting its annual Pink Round from 28 July to 3 August 2025, uniting member schools across South Australia in a vibrant show of support. This heartfelt initiative raises awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), which provides essential services and support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer across the country.

    A Community United in Pink

IGSSA schools are embracing the pink theme across all sports fixtures this week. Students, staff, and spectators are encouraged to wear pink accessories, including specially designed pink socks, to show solidarity and spark conversations about breast cancer awareness.

    Raising Awareness and Funds

The Pink Round is more than just a dress code; it’s a powerful platform for education and fundraising. By integrating awareness into school sports, IGSSA fosters a culture of empathy and proactive health consciousness among young women. Funds raised during this week will directly support BCNA’s mission to assist Australians affected by breast cancer.

    How to Get Involved

Community members can contribute by attending Pink Round events, donning pink attire, and making donations to BCNA. For more information on fixtures, visit the “Fixtures” link above. To donate to our fundraising page, click here.
