Senior A: A Classic Final at Scotch
The Senior A Grand Final, held at Scotch College on Friday, 21st March, was a thrilling contest that came down to the final few balls. Scotch First XI secured a hard-fought victory over Seymour Senior A, triumphing with a score of 4/91 against Seymour’s 2/86.
MVP of the match, Harriet Tyrer (Scotch), delivered a standout performance, anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 54 runs to steer her team to victory. This win marks Scotch’s fourth consecutive IGSSA Senior A Cricket Shield, further cementing their dominance in the competition.
Senior B: St Peter’s Goes Back-to-Back
In the Senior B Grand Final at Kensington District Cricket Club, St Peter’s Senior B took on Scotch Second XI in another tightly contested match. Chasing 4/66, St Peter’s held their nerve and reached 4/67 with two overs to spare, securing back-to-back Senior B titles.
